Police arrested a Richardson Bay woman on allegations she attacked one man with pepper spray and another with a steering wheel locking device.
The incident happened Saturday evening at a storage locker on Gate 5 Road in Sausalito, said police Lt. William Fraass. He said the woman started arguing with her boyfriend, poured juice and shaving cream on him, then shot him in the eyes with the pepper spray.
Then she assaulted the other man, throwing the wheel lock at him and hitting him in the back of the left leg, according to Fraass. Paramedics took the 73-year-old man to MarinHealth Medical Center for surgery on a deep wound that was bleeding heavily.
Police arrested Jade Unger, a 33-year-old boat resident, and booked her into the county jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury and elder abuse. She remained in custody Sunday.
The police department also plans to ask the district attorney’s office for charges of domestic battery, unlawful use of pepper spray, possession of drug paraphernalia and violating probation, Fraass said. He said Unger is on probation for a case involving allegations of trespassing and resisting arrest.
