Investigators have identified a suspect in an armed robbery at a Novato market, police said Wednesday.
The robbery happened March 28 at the 7-Eleven on Diablo Avenue. The clerk told police the robber pulled out a gun, demanded money from the cash registers and left with about $500.
Police obtained surveillance video from the store, produced a sketch of the robber and distributed the information to other law enforcement agencies.
In April, police in Vallejo arrested Kadeem Deshawn Reese in connection with a series of similar robberies in Solano County. Vallejo police alerted Novato investigators that Reese might be responsible for the 7-Eleven robbery. Subsequent investigation has confirmed Reese as the suspect, the Novato Police Department said.
Reese, 30, of Vallejo is in custody at the Solano County Jail in lieu of $1.05 million bail.
