Novato police arrested two teenage suspects Tuesday in connection with a shooting on April 9 in the Hamilton area.
Police described the attack, which injured an 18-year-old man, as a gang crime.
The suspects, ages 15 and 16, were taken into custody when detectives and county probation officers executed search warrants at homes in the Bay Vista apartment complex in the Hamilton neighborhood.
Authorities did not identify the suspects because they are minors. They were booked into the Marin County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of attempted murder and participation in a street gang.
The shooting happened near Nave Drive and State Access Road. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his back, police said.
