Authorities conducted 14 searches and arrested two people during a sweep involving probation compliance and outstanding warrants.
The operation on Feb. 25 included members of the Marin County Probation Department, the Marin County District Attorney’s Office, sheriff’s deputies and police from San Rafael and Novato.
Russel Chan-Naal, 33, of San Rafael was arrested for having an outstanding warrant on a false imprisonment charge, sheriff’s Sgt. Adam Schermerhorn said. Jertell Joey Hathorn, 27, of Marin City was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and violating his probation terms. Both suspects remained in custody Tuesday at the Marin County Jail.
