A San Rafael police detective arrested a Terra Linda woman after she allegedly attacked him with a 9-inch kitchen blade.
The detective went to Megan Kenyon’s apartment on Merrydale Road on Tuesday because she had been reported missing. Kenyon came to the door after several knocks and started slashing the “pie knife” toward the detective, said police Sgt. Justin Graham.
The detective subdued Kenyon, 54, without injury to her or himself, Graham said. Police booked her into the county jail on suspicion of assaulting a peace officer and outstanding warrants. She remained in custody Wednesday.
