An East Bay man was arrested at a Novato hotel on Friday on suspicion of possessing suspected narcotics and a “ghost gun,” police said.
Police contacted the man at about 5:30 a.m. after receiving a report of a disturbance at the Days Inn on Redwood Boulevard. Officers identified the man as Marshall Brooks, 38, of Antioch and found alleged narcotics, drug paraphernalia and a gun with no identification marks or registration, according to the Novato Police Department.
Police booked Marshall into the Marin County Jail on the drug and firearm allegations as well as an outstanding warrant in a weapons-related case. He remained in custody Friday afternoon.
