The California Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run crash where a commercial truck driver struck a high voltage power pole in Novato.
The crash happened at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday on eastbound Highway 37 near Highway 101, according to the CHP. The impact broke the pole and the driver ran away, said CHP Officer Darrel Horner.
Police closed the eastbound lane of Highway 37 during the night pending repairs by Pacific Gas & Electric Co.
Information on whether the driver has been identified and arrested was not available Sunday.
